Apple AirPods- A Comprehensive Review

  The whole world seemed to mourn when Apple announced they were killing off the headphone jack in the iPhone 7. Being lucky enough to get the iPhone 7 soon after launch, I was not worried about this change. An Apple fanboy to the core, I knew the company that had yet to prove me wrong would continue its streak. Spoiler alert, I was right. Maybe it was my upbringing, being forged in the fire and flames of technology and surrounded by Apple products, the first being my dads iPod that I would take when he wasn't looking to sneak a song or two. Regardless, almost two years after getting the iPhone 7, I still haven't had to compromise on charging or listening to music. Apple AirPods further eliminate the possibility that you could be met with this dilemma.

  As for the AirPods themselves, the design is simple but functional as per usual for any product made by Apple. No fancy buttons or flashy colors that scream look at me, just sleek and minimalistic. The actual bud that goes in your ear is similar to the wired version except it is slightly wider, the tips are silver, have a built-in microphone, and don't have wires(obviously). The sound quality is not the best out of every wireless earbud there is, but it is fantastic none the less, even for a music lover like me! The call quality is superb and much better than any other earbud or headphone product I have tried. The Apple Airpods also stay in my ear for in every situation I have put them through. Every type of exercise in the gym from running to yoga and everything in between the Apple AirPods stay in! In addition to being great when you workout, they are also perfect for doing chores or yard work, gaming, work, real life in general!

  The truly miraculous thing is even the case that the AirPods goes in is well designed. It is obvious that Apple spent time consolidating everything that needed to be in the case in the smallest space possible. After all the point of Bluetooth, earbuds is to take up the least amount of space as possible. Apple has accomplished this squeezing everything into a case smaller than the palm of your hand. The battery life of the AirPods is pretty good, a couple hours max, but the case seems to never need to be charged. I use these every day and I charge the case every two weeks, for example. The only grievance I have with the Apple AirPods is that they do not give you a power block to charge it with. They give you a standard lightning cable but you cannot plug that into a wall outlet. That being said, if you are looking for a reason not to purchase this wonderful product you are going to have to keep looking because honestly, it is well worth the price.

Like I said earlier, I love Apple but all(or most) bias aside this is a wonderful product and I have had no issues with it at all. It has exceeded my expectations in many ways and I would recommend it to anyone(Yes, even if you have an Android!).
